The bagels are New York-style: boiled first, hand-dipped in seeds, then baked on redwood planks, so they come out crunchy outside and chewy in the middle. The breakfast sandwiches are the draw, and the Atomic, built around a sausage from the late, beloved Hot Doug's, is a small piece of Chicago food history on a bagel.
